About

Matthew graduated from Digipen Institute of Technology in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering.  While at Digipen, he worked for two years at Nintendo Software Technology Corporation.  In January 2009, Matthew joined LasX Industries, Inc in White Bear Lake, Minnesoat as a Controls Software Engineer.  He is presently a Control Software Engineer II at LasX.

Matthew has been working professionally with embedded, real-time software and hardware for over 6 years.  He have done everything from re-designing FPGAs to writing his own real time operating system (RTOS), to writing a complete emulator for MIPS instructions to PowerPC instructions.

At LasX, he’s written control algorithms for real-time laser power control and also for real-time laser position control through a galvinometric Scanhead.  He’s also worked extensively with industrial robots, namely from Adept Technology, Inc.
